OUR PRODUCTION FACILITIES IN BAVARIA
Beyond the seven mountains and close to the seven dwarves, somewhere between Nürnberg and Ingolstadt, lies the small village of Ettenstatt. This is the home of our 800 square feet production facility, where 10 employees produce all our filters and pipe cleaners. Former owner Michael Maderholz still is the production manager, and at the same time our landlord. So we always have to be nice to him! All 15 machines he built himself, some over 30 years ago. He knows them inside out, and if they develop quirks from time to time, he repairs them himself.
WHY KOPP FILTERS?
Healthy smoking is a contradiction in itself. A high quality smoking experience however, where the taste and enjoyment is the main focus, is the goal of Kopp Filters. Our charcoal is activated and purified in Germany. Our natural Meerschaum origins from Eskisehir in Turkey and is completely untreated and free of additives. The ceramic caps and paper tubes are made by German companies with whom we cooperate very well for decades. The packaging comes from a printing press only 20 km from our facilities. Our 6 mm filters are packaged in sheltered workshops next to our doorstep. The price we pay is good for both sides.

worldwide. Our grinding mill is 3,5 meters long.
